To answer a recent post in our guestbook, Chuck and I have been lazy about updating our website since the wedding and in a way I feel guilty about it because I would like to see more traffic coming in on this site and continue to make this a good way to keep in touch with our family and friends.
But never fear!!! As a result of being victims of Black Sunday shopping, we are awaiting on our new MacBook laptop as we speak!!! It left some factory in China a few days ago, then went to Alaska, and last night it was in transit from Indiana so we are expecting our new bundle of joy to come home any day now ;-)
With Christmas around the corner, we are going to try the best we can to catch up with those who fell through the cracks since our wedding reception...With that being said, we have two tickets available to watch the Virginia Tech basketball team at the Verizon Center in DC this Sunday and so far, we have not gotten any takers to come with us :-( Just throwing it out there...LOL!!!
If we don't hear from any of you or visa versa, Chuck and I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful, happy and healthy New Year!!!

Sailing off...
Not quite but thought it was a cool title :-) We are leaving for the airport in roughly 35 minutes and just wanted to leave a quick message to all who visit our site while we are away.
We wanted to thank everyone who visited our site and to let you know that we intend to keep this site as a way of keeping connected with friends and loved ones way after our wedding is said and done. We look forward to seeing most of you at our wedding reception on May 23rd and for those who could not make it, Chuck and I will hopefully see you in the near future....
We are both excited about the fact we will be chilling out in Jamaica in a few hours since this has been on our minds for the past 6 months!!!
I am sure Chuck and I will have many stories when we return and we cannot wait to share them with all of you when we get back...

Chuck and I are pleased to announce that our AWESOME DJ has given us a link to post on our website to request songs for our upcoming reception. We welcome all requests, however I must warn you that we can place any song of our choice on a "Do Not Play" list...HAHAHA!!!
All you have to do is go under our "Wedding Info" part of this site and you will see "Help Us With Our Music" and you will be directed to Horizon Entertainment where you can pick a tune you want to party to and the list is endless :-)
My mom has jumped on the bandwagon and picked like 20 songs (Sorry Mom but I am not fond of "Holla Back Girl"...not to mention your obsession to Fleetwood Mac !!!!)...I do love my mom dearly but it is nice to have some variety to balance out the crowd's liking of music.
So for the sake of our guests not having to hear "The Twist" and "The Macarena" (which I am considering to take to the "Do Not Play" grave) request until it hurts!!!

Talk about a coincidence!!
Chuck and I got an email from a "Robbin & Chuck"...This was very weird as they own robbinandchuck.com!!! What are the chances??? Well they wished us well and basically told us there could be a possibility of "mixed traffic" on our sites. No, this will not mean anything relating to our family and friends visiting our site but it is something to be mindful of :-)
Just when I thought we had a unique experience, I was chatting online with Adrienne, who is getting married this weekend (her hubby to be, Steve, is friends with Chuck and the four of us have been out and about a good bit together) told me a while ago, that another guy contacted her named "Steve" is marrying a girl named "Adrienne"...What makes this weird is that this particular "Steve" shares the same last name as her (maiden name to get things straight....). So needless to say when this "Steve" marries "Adrienne" this "Adrienne" lady will have her first name and soon to be old last name....hopefully I didn't mix things up!!!
In other news, my side of the list has RSVP'd and are all accounted for...This is one less thing to worry about...Chuck still needs to follow up on his list but this is rather small. My biggest issue is the decor of our reception. We left the creativity to Red, who happens to be my maid of honor. She is an artist and I know she has a great imagination. However, I always think of the worst case scenario :-(

New web-browser
Just found Flock seems to be an awesome web browser, that integrates quite seamlessly a lot of social sites I go to often (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr) as well as an RSS reader, that will save me lots of time from going to all the news sites I like (EnGadget, CNN, eitmOnline, Hokiesports, TUAW, D-Listed, MacRumors, etc)
