Talk about a coincidence!!

Chuck and I got an email from a "Robbin & Chuck"...This was very weird as they own robbinandchuck.com!!! What are the chances??? Well they wished us well and basically told us there could be a possibility of "mixed traffic" on our sites. No, this will not mean anything relating to our family and friends visiting our site but it is something to be mindful of :-)

Just when I thought we had a unique experience, I was chatting online with Adrienne, who is getting married this weekend (her hubby to be, Steve, is friends with Chuck and the four of us have been out and about a good bit together) told me a while ago, that another guy contacted her named "Steve" is marrying a girl named "Adrienne"...What makes this weird is that this particular "Steve" shares the same last name as her (maiden name to get things straight....). So needless to say when this "Steve" marries "Adrienne" this "Adrienne" lady will have her first name and soon to be old last name....hopefully I didn't mix things up!!!

In other news, my side of the list has RSVP'd and are all accounted for...This is one less thing to worry about...Chuck still needs to follow up on his list but this is rather small. My biggest issue is the decor of our reception. We left the creativity to Red, who happens to be my maid of honor. She is an artist and I know she has a great imagination. However, I always think of the worst case scenario :-(

Gotta hit the hay!!!

New web-browser

Just found Flock seems to be an awesome web browser, that integrates quite seamlessly a lot of social sites I go to often (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr) as well as an RSS reader, that will save me lots of time from going to all the news sites I like (EnGadget, CNN, eitmOnline, Hokiesports, TUAW, D-Listed, MacRumors, etc)

Always rooting for the underdog...

I was amazed when I got home that we received a few more RSVP's...It put a spark to my rather redundant day. Stress level is still high because of all the things Chuck and I must do before we leave and not to mention all the other weddings we have to attend before we leave for Jamaica.

About a week ago, Chuck finally went to my hairdresser after the Koreans at his barbershop cut his hair WAAAY too short. Now MY hairdresser will be doing his hair the day before we leave for our wedding. I must say my hairdresser kicks ass. She's this Turkish woman who gives me 20% off of everything in the salon mainly because I am her favorite client...I could soooo write a whole chapter on how awesome she is....We are scheduled to see her the day before our flight to make sure we look decent for our memorable event. I have another person in Jamaica to do my up-do but my hairdresser is the only woman who can do my color right :-)

On another note, Chuck and I were watching the finale of Biggest Loser Couples and I have to admit, I am happy a woman won but I was rooting for Kelly...She was the underdog the whole show...every week everyone figured she was a goner but only tonight was she truly eliminated...Ali did a hell of a job nonetheless...

Chuck had an awesome idea of me going to the gym in the morning since I go to work a tad later on Wednesdays and Fridays....This is also part of my bridal regimen. Every bride wants to look awesome in their photos!!!

OK off to bed so I don't talk myself into sleeping in as I normally do....Maybe if you're lucky Chuck will post a thing or two!!!

First blog...

After a lot of nagging, I finally got Chuck to have a blog put on our website....I guess all I can say is that we have most of our wedding reception decor and I am quite impressed with how creative we got when it came to the smallest details. I don't want to give everything away but we coordinated with our invitations and also brought a bit of Jamaica back to our reception area.

So far we have 21 confirmations, which makes me nervous but I have to remember an old saying from an old colleague who said "80% of the world procrastinates". So if she was right then I am well on my way.

One thing Chuck and I are really liking is our wedding bands!!! I was impressed with how well it fit with my engagement ring and the fact I will not have to fuse the two rings together...With my band , when it is put together with my engagement ring, it kind of looks like a rose...Chuck likes the way his ring feels (yeah he admitted it!!!). It's got some weight to it...

A lot of what is going on for our ceremony in Jamaica is to be set when we arrive but our wedding licenses are all set and ready to go :-)

Not too bad for a first blog huh??? I swear I will put something more interesting once it comes to me.
